About Us

Office Mission

The Office of Student Affairs mission is to support all our medical students during your time at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. We provide student-centered, individualized personal, professional, and academic guidance in an equitable and just way to maximize the success of our diverse medical student body.

Committed to Your Success

We understand the needs of medical students and are dedicated to meeting those needs. Our team is trained to support your academic success, nurture your sense of well-being, and guide you through your professional development. We are here to celebrate your achievements and to support you through the tough moments of life (whether personal or within your family).  We will guide you through the important milestones of medical school – from your White Coat Ceremony to your Commencement Ceremony with the transition to clerkships, and applying to residency along the way. You can count on us!
