Certificate in Mentoring
The Mentoring Certificate is designed to recognize medical students who engage in significant unpaid mentoring during their enrollment. Candidates must complete at least 20 hours of documented mentorship activities and write a 500-word reflective essay. Eligible activities including unpaid mentoring or unpaid tutoring within the School of Medicine or with recognized nonprofit organizations.

Please complete the application, Certificate of Recognition for Mentoring Application Form, and submit to Dr. Michael Rizzi no later than four months before you expect to graduate.
