Ari Blackford-Rupp

Ari Blackford-Rupp joined OSA this past year as an Administrative Specialist working primarily with Associate Dean Alda Maria Gonzaga and the Advisory Deans. She previously worked in Pitt Med as Executive Administrative Coordinator for the HIV/AIDS program in the Department of Medicine. She has 15+ years of student services experience as an academic advisor, program director, and admissions officer at Carnegie Mellon University. She also worked at the Austin Museum of Art in Texas and has taught college-level art courses at several local institutions, including Carnegie Mellon, Carlow, and La Roche Universities.
Ari holds an MA in art history from Arizona State University and a BA from Nazareth College of Rochester. She loves practicing yoga, hiking, reading, going to live music shows, and exploring new vacation spots with her family.
